The Full Trail Experience Three separate trail races, three separate parks, each with its own unique atmosphere. In order to allow everyone a taste of trail running, all three events will host both 30K and 10K races. 2015 sees the return of The Tangle at the Beautiful Flat Creek!, which proved in its inaugural year to be challenging ! The final race will be a joint event: One part championship race, where the combined time of all three races determine overall placement, as well as a stand alone event with its own awards.
Our Intention Is to provide a trail running opportunity right here in Austin in a format that provides well marked courses and aid station support so that you can run the trails without worrying about a map. The aid stations will be about 3 miles apart, so it is up to you to decide if you need to carry water with you or not. Consider that it takes longer to cover 3 miles on trail than it does on road, and base your decision on that. Most people will carry at least one water bottle.
The first race in the Rogue Trail Series, The Tangle, will be held in March (official date to come) at Flat Creek Ranch, adjacent to Pedernales Falls State Park. Come kick off the fun in March with this tricky course!
